And if an anti-abortion law passes Supreme Court muster then who knows what else could pass. Intelligent Design may make it yet in to the classrooms.

What we are seeing is an American brand of Religious Terrorism coming from the Far Right. Does anyone remember the abortion clinic bombings of years past? Those were acts of terrorism - plain and simple - by the Religious Right. Yet we have a President who masquerades as some sort of anti-terror Master who is the champion of these very groups.

While we are embroiled in a seeming Crusade against Islam (Hey, Bush said we were in a Crusade) disguised as a war against Terrorism, the Religious Right is embroiled in efforts to destroy this country.

Anti-abortion measures will further erode the rights of, at least, half the U.S. population, namely women. Abortion is not a government issue, not a political issue, but a private issue. If the Religious Right win this round they will be back, again, with I.D. for the schools, anti-flag burning amendments, and so on until this nation - Our Country - recognizes Jesus Christ as the Law.

It could happen, even in a Democracy.

More Bush Bashing
Look who's popped up again - Osama bin Laden. What a bastard. If only he had been caught when the U.S. forces had him cornered but then Bush had greater matters to attend to, namely chasing after invisible WMDs in Iraq. And this, after Bush strutted around saying to the Taliban that if you don't hand over bin Laden we'll remove you. They didn't and he did. Yet, with bin Laden cornered between Afghanistan and Pakistan, he backed off from taking the same stance. He didn't challenge Pakistan - he asked them but by then it didn't matter. He had business to attend to in Iraq. It makes you wonders just how deep the ties are between the bin Laden and Bush families.

When you shake your heads over Iraq, over $500 BILLION and numerous lives wasted, over the rise of Iran, over bin Laden still at large, over al Zarqawi (who heard of him before Iraq?), think of and thank Bush.

As our economy stumbles along and our infrastructure decays, as education continues to decline, as money for Katrinas disappears, as our environment gets sold off for short-term gains, think of and thank Bush.

There is little doubt in my, and many other Americans, minds that Bush is single-handedly the worst President in United States history. The most wasteful, the most inept, the most un-American, the most biased - and as the main representative of our country what does that say about us?

No wonder we're the laughing stock of the World. We can do better than Bush. We need to do better than Bush.
