And what is Bush doing? He is posturing, threatening, in other words just being himself. No attempt at diplomacy other than Condi going to Europe and smooching butt. Bush may feel safer surrounded by his guards and reinforced structures but for the rest of us, it's pucker time.

Time to say it again. Bush blew it by lying and invading Iraq. By diverting the military's attention from Afghanistan and bin Laden, Bush showed that (1) terrorism is a political excuse for his convenience; (2) he's clueless about reality. If Bush had sought out bin Laden first Al Qaeda would have lost a leader and initiative. Bush could have then dealt with Iran, Syria, North Korea, or any real threats. Hell, he might have even found valid justifications for invading Iraq.

I guess accountability and responsibility is for us lesser folks to deal with and for the Bushies to preach from on up high.
