Declaration of Independence
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." - which is all null and void when faced with the Draft. Perhaps we need another Declaration towards our own Government to remind them that they do not OWN us. We are not chattel. It's bad enough our tax dollars get wasted on dubious exploits; American blood should not follow.


Hypocrisy II
Drubius rightly commented below (on tBlog) that Hypocrisy can be spelled Democrat or Republican (or to any other corrupt political group for that matter). But come November when it yet again is a choice between an ass and Dumbo, I feel the ass is ever so slightly less offensive. Bush can not be allowed to win and so a vote for Kerry can be considered as a desperate measure.


Afterwards, go home, hug the kids, have a beer (or something a bit stronger), and have a cry for our country.
