Buying Oil
Bush's comment about how lucrative the Iraqi oil has been got me thinking: who's buying the oil? If anyone can provide the answer I'd be greatly obliged. I just want to remove this niggling, stupid, paranoid, conspiratorial feeling that not only does Bush have a convenient agreement with the Saudis for price drops near the election but that the U.S. is also the main purchaser of Iraqi oil to help flood the market at the same time. But surely Bush wouldn't hold the U.S. hostage over oil?!?

Lakers Feeling Heat
It's April and the darn temp is over 90 freaking degrees. Lakers are unable to decimate opponents despite talent up the wazoo. They need to shut down those pesky Rockets Wednesday. Otherwise San Antonio will be too rested. Ugly blast-furnace times in La-la-land.

Republican Mindset
They always "stick to their guns". Where logic fails, firepower prevails. Just envision Bush strutting around in a jumpsuit with "that smirk".
