It's good to have an ignorant populace. Keep them stupid and they won't think about or even question the pap the politicians regularly spew. It also helps in keeping the military well populated: "Sorry, son, yer too stupid fer college. You can have a nice choice of the Army, Navy, or Air Force."
So why a comment about ignorance? One of the reasons we invaded, excuse me, liberated Iraq was because of a supposed link between Hussein and Al Qaeda. Despite no links yet found one of the common arguments for such a link is the old "Enemy's enemy is my friend" reasoning. But that is not proof and it's not even common sense.
For example, let's play a game called "Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon". Bush - our president - knows and has done business with the Bin Ladens (but not Osama - we think). This is fact. The Bin Ladens do include the known terrorist Osama as a family member. This is fact. By all "reasoning" Bush therefore is *linked* to Osama and this too is fact.
But it is not proof that Bush supports or supported Osama Bin Laden. Correlation does not mean causation. Hussein may have a link somewhere to Al Qaeda but it is not proof that he supported the group. "Enemy's enemy as friend" doesn't even show a link. It's pure conjecture.
Along a similar lines, if, in Iraq, we find chemicals and hardware that *could* be worked into some sort of weapon of mass destruction, it doesn't mean Hussein would have used them to build such a weapon. You could go into a typical American household and find chemicals to build a variety of weapons but that doesn't mean Mr. and Ms. Joe Household were going to do so.
We're talking Smoking Guns and Bush has yet to provide any such evidence to support his reasons for the invasion of Iraq.
What stinks about this war is that Bush et al have forsaken honesty, integrity, and even American principles (like "Innocent until proven guilty") for their own agenda. And in doing so they push reasoning out the window - you can't question their actions or motives and get a straight answer.
Instead they want you to ride the emotion of winning and with America rolling over Iraq that emotion is positive and powerful. With the American and British media reporting with a "Rah! Rah!" bias the emotion is lopsided - you're either a winner and support our actions or a traitor, an enemy.
When the emotion starts to wane and questions about our awful economy rear up, rest assured Bush will have the solution. Syria, Iran, and then re-election.
Because we like winning and it doesn't take brains to win when you have the U.S. Military behind you.

I Got It!
Now I understand why we did what we did in Iraq and why we going to do what we're going to do in Syria and Iran. It's not about war; it's about peace. To bring about peace in the Middle East we *HAVE* to replace the regimes that stand in the way of such a process. Our display of military might and prowess in Iraq was the warning shot - "Get your acts together or face the terrible consequences!"
Thats why Israel told the Palestinians to stop the terrorism. The U.S. is a-coming and a-coming with force.
Beautiful. Surely peace in the Middle East is a goal we can all live with and support. Kudos to Bush et al for devising and implementing this bold and decisive plan.
If...
If only Bush could have implemented the plan without the lies and all the other illegal activities...
Bush may get the Nobel Prize for Peace when this is all done but they'll have to give it to him on the scaffold when he's hung for war crimes.

It's Over?
So Bush is sending MOABs to Iraq and we still have the kickass tank group sitting in Kuwait. Darn shame not to use them. Waste of taxpayers money to let the tanks and MOABs to bring them all back (unused). I say let's liberate Syria! To heck with rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan - bunch of backwards yokums - we're on a roll. Syria, Iran, Lebanon...the whole frigging Middle East. Heck, let's take over Israel too. We'll make the Middle East safe for Christianity...er...Democracy.
Come on Crusader George. Slay the Middle East dragon. There's a few billion barrels of oil waiting for you...
"YAY! We did it! We kicked Saddam's butt! Aren't we great? We bombed his butt - HA, HA! We went in and kicked Iraqi ass!!! We own them!!! Bring on the next bunch of ragheads. We are so awesome!
It was tough there for a while - NOT! It looked like the Iraqis may have had some fight in them - NOT!
I know I did my part. I drank black coffee like what the troops drink. I wore my regulation-like army boots with appropriate desert camouflage pants and a "Death From Above" t-shirt. (If I could join the military I'd be a Airborne Ranger - they rock!!) I played "Americas Army". I posted "Support our troops!" signs everywhere. I watched Fox and bought gas, even though the prices suck. I even threw rocks at those stupid anti-war protesters. What a bunch of losers! War is bad - boohoo! The war is illegal - boohoo! Bush is a criminal - boohoo! 'Give Peace A Chance!'
Screw you, pathetic whiners. We should throw you all in jail, you terrorist-loving scum! We should just kill you all dead.
Oh wait. I have to be politically correct here. War is terrible and I'm very, very sad that people got hurt or killed. I cried a lot at night thinking about the innocent civilians, especially the mothers and children, that got killed. I cried thinking of our brave troops getting killed, even though we probably killed more of our guys than what the Iraqis could muster. I cried a lot over the journalists who got killed when they were just doing their jobs. This war made me very, very, very unhappy because I care about people and all living things. I have a dog that I pet quite a bit. Yes, this war made me think about how bad war is with those evil Iraqis trying to kill us.
But then I think about how we kicked Saddam's and his stupid son's butts and I'm happy again. We are so l33t!!
Whew! I think our boys have the cleanup in hand so I'm gonna go back to Splinter Cell, maybe hit the beach, hang out on Highland, and later catch the Vin Diesel flick at the multiplex.
Yep, it sure was tough. War *IS* hell - I don't know *HOW* I managed the last couple of weeks."
Eating Crow
Some pompous pro-war jackass wrote in to the Los Angeles Times with a message for us anti-war types: Eat crow!
This neanderthal of civilization obviously relished the war as an awesome display of America's military might - Rah! Rah! - and nothing deeper than that.
There was never any doubt or argument even from us anti-war types that we wouldn't win in Iraq. That's not why we protest. We hate the lies that were used as justification for invasion. We hate the evasion when we question those lies. We hate the cronyism, of divvying up the spoils before the war began. We hate the irresponsible use of military power. We hate that America, once a respected nation, has a tarnished image, a nation to be feared and not respected; we're nothing more than a bully hungry for expanding our influence and control. We hate the media being used as pawns. We hate that more civil liberties disappeared in the name of Security. We hate that the United Nations is now nothing more than a dispenser of bandages. We hate that Democracy no longer includes Diplomacy. We hate the "Might Makes Right" mentality. We hate the "ends justifies the means" morality.
And we will continue to protest against illegal use of Government properties and people, against abuse of position, against trashing our Constitution and Democracy.
Two More Excuses To Invade Syria
Completely obvious excuses for invasion of Syria. Apologies for not including them on my list way below.
- Syria is hiding Saddam. That's right. We can't prove he's bitsies in the bomb rubble. With rumors of Hussein's survival and fleeing Iraq likely to Syria we can smugly give Syria 48 hours to turn him over to us for Justice or we will invade. No way can Syria prove they're not hiding Hussein so in we go guns a-blazing.
- We didn't find Weapons of Mass Destruction because they were exported to Syria. That's right! And if Syria doesn't disarm within 48 hours we will invade. We won't need inspectors because Syria leadership like Iraqi leadership is too crafty to leave any proof lying around. And after we invade and don't find WoMD we can claim they were moved again...to Iran. Kind of like Hot Potato.
Very subtle. A couple of weeks ago the concern was on Iraq and kind of on North Korea. Then as the war started the focus shifted to Iraq, with some warnings to Iran and Syria not to interfere. Then a few days ago Bush announces that there are no plans what-so-ever to "liberate" Iran and Syria. And yesterday a commentary in the paper about how Bush must be concerned with North Korea and Iran since both countries have nuclear weapons programs. Another commentator today mentions that the justifications for war in Iraq would easily apply for a war on Syria. And today the Undersecretary of the U.S. gave a friendly warning to Syria, Iran, and North Korea about pursuing Weapons of Mass Destruction and directly addressed Syria (and other Mid-East countries) to consider "new possibilities" for peace. Translation: See Iraq - cross us and adios.
So given that we control Iraq, where to go next? North Korea, Iran, or Syria? Hmmmmm, tough choice. And what excuse will Bush use this time to invade? How about:
- [Iran/Syria/North Korea], with its program of "nucular" development, poses a direct threat to the safety and security of the United States. We must therefore remove their Weapons of Mass Destruction as we have done in Iraq.
- We have indisputible evidence that [Syria/Iran] supports terrorist groups like Al Qaeda.
- We have indisputible evidence that [Iran/Syria] helped Iraqi fighters during the past conflict even after we warned them not to.
- Iran and Iraq have a long history of animosity. With Iraq undergoing regime change we must remove the temptation for Iran to invade.
- [Iran/Syria] Their people call out to me for liberation...
- [re Iran/Syria] I hear they have these nice oil fields that just aren't producing right...
And then Lebanon, Saudi...
Here are the opening odds of America's next* Candidate for Democracy:
Syria 1-1 - Tactically this country should be far easier to liberate than Iraq. Smaller than Iran and surrounded by U.S. "friendlies", this country is toast.
Iran 3-1 - Could be a chore to liberate but the oil should make it worth the while. Not next in line but on the list.
Lebanon 5-1 - Just to clean out the area between Syria and Israel. Mo' Democracy, mo' Democracy.
Venezuela 10-1 - A quiet visit down south to show our military flexibility and expand our influence. Ummmm, oil....
North Korea 20-1 - No oil, just China sitting in back. Darn "nucular" situation. Not much reason to invade yet.
Pakistan 25-1 - The big hideout for bin Laden. We're friendly with Pakistan...this week.
Afghanistan 35-1 - If tribal warfare acts up or the Taliban remnants even dare threaten our oil interests...back in we go.
Mexico 50-1 - Solve the immigration problem by shrinking the southern border and get a little oil. Got to like "Texas" taking over Mexico.
France 100-1 - Teach them about not unequivocally backing us up. Damned good food, drink, and arts. Dibs on taking an American leak off the Eiffel.
Israel 200-1 - Bush needs to control Har Megiddo for the End of Days.
Russia 500-1 - Russia's a mess and could benefit from our political experience. Excellent resources could provide nice kickback. Russia's size a barrier though.
Albania 1000-1 - Why not? For those who like long odds.
* 'next' means "directly in line next" not "eventual". Georgie likely has plans for all of the above mentioned countries, except maybe Albania.
After taking out...I mean...liberating Syria, Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, heck Jordan may just give us the keys to the kingdom. And then after that - Big Time Georgie! - it's Saudi Arabia and finally real revenge for 9/11...
Woo-hoo! That's why America Rocks! We have a real manly President in our Georgie. Terrorists blow up the Trade Center, we take over the Middle East. That's big brass balls and nothing will stop King Crusader George from his God-appointed mission.
In fact, you know something. Our Democracy SUCKS!!! We don't need it. Screw it - we need a monarchy! A man who is not just King but King and God's right hand man. Yes, Bush can do it. He has proven himself by defeating worthy opponents. He is morally unimpeachable. All Hail King George!! ALL HAIL KING GEORGE!!! SIEG...
Let me understand this. If I am opposed to the war it's acceptable for me to say so before the actual fighting. Once the fighting starts I must immediately put my view on hold and stand solidly behind our troops and President as a show of support. After the fighting I can return to voicing my anti-war stance.
And if I say I support the troops and still oppose the reason for their being in a war, that doesn't count. For the War Hawks, once that button is pushed and the missile launched all Patriotic, Red-White-And-Blue, God-fearing, True-Blue, Loyal Americans must immediately fall in line. If you don't then you *MUST* be either a traitor or a terrorist.
Saturday, April 05, 2003 The Ends Do Not Justify The Means
There is little doubt that we will win this war and little doubt that all the protests will have any useful effect. Bush has his agenda and the rest of the world be damned - literally. What makes this whole ordeal so insanely painful is that Bush is using the same justification for his actions as terrorists. He has reduced himself and us down to their level. Terrorists act to make a statement, to try to bring about change, to interrupt normal procedures. In doing so their actions - immoral as they are - are conveniently justified by the supposed end result. That's why the 9/11 terrorists could shave, could live as Americans, could act in ways that are forbidden by their religion. Their actions were forgiven in the name of the greater effort.
And Bush has followed the same logic. Yes, we will win in Iraq. And somehow that justifies the lies, illegal maneuverings and shady deals (past, present, and forthcoming), and actions. Many Iraqis view us a great an evil as we view Hussein, and both sides are correct. So much for morality. So much for God's glory.
To make things even worse, when this is all over, we'll have to suffer through the arrogance and pomposity of those who supported Bush and the War. They'll gloss over the lies. They'll be too busy acting as if they own the world. They'll be so happy that "WE WON!!" and, of course, have a moment of silence for those giving the ultimate sacrifice. If just doesn't sink in that war should be the absolute last resort, not a quick fix. And if soldiers, civilians, or tag-along reporters get killed, that's part of war. You can lament but place the blame squarely on yourself. Your support sent them to war and to face the risks.
To easy to predict but Hussein will likely not get caught tor killed. Bush will still count the regime change as a victory. But it's not! Remember this is all about terrorism. If Bush doesn['t get Hussein and bin Laden then all this fighting and invasion crap wasn't about terrorism at all but something else. For Bush to have any semblance of integrity left he has to get Hussein and bin Laden. One's a supporter of terrorism; the other the head of a known terrorist group. Right Georgie? Or is this another packet of lies?
Yeah, yeah. The bill won't pass in Oregon but - gosh - Ashcroft is sure to be smiling...and plotting.
Protest while you can but remember to stand on the sidewalk, keeping your hands raised in plain sight at all times. Protests will not be allowed during rush hour, lunch hour, weekends, or when school is out of session. Protests must cease immediately in the presence of a law enforcement officer, government official, Republican, Pro-War activist, or anyone morally superior.
Like I said, Sinclair, it sure can happen here...

Scary quotes for the Bush age. I just made them up:
"For the Government to keep us totally secure they must have total information about us."
"'Privacy = Guilt' - You'd have nothing to hide if you were innocent."
"Dissension = Terrorism." see above.
*****
Bush claimed that the Iraqis are desperate for Freedom and, once the fighting started, would eagerly join our troops in the fight and would welcome them. Not quite happening. The Iraqis are fighting fiercely and cleverly.
Supposedly there was this imaginary line around Baghdad. Cross it and Hussein would use his Weapons of Mass Destruction (WoMD). We crossed it - no WoMD. Let's take a look at reality. If he had these weapons wouldn't it make more sense to use when your opponent is away from cities and isolated on the roads? Using them with a city confines makes no sense - you threaten your own military. Wouldn't it make more sense to have launched them when we were setting up in Kuwait - catch us off guard? And why call for suicide bombers if you have chemical or biological weapons? Suicide bombers seem so last resort. Oh, but that Hussein is crazy evil...
"But they found a thousand gas masks in a hospital...that's proof Hussein lied and has WoMD!" Do this. Go to darn near any residence in Israel and look around. You'll likely find a gas mask. Does that mean the residence owner has a WoMD? If your populace is threatened by such weapons where's a good palce to stockpile gas masks? Hospitals, Schools...places where the sick, elderly, and children can get access to them quickly. That they are finding caches of gas masks and uniforms is not proof of WoMD. Don't put it past Bush to use our WoMD if things get desperate. Hmmmm, is a 5000-pound bomb a Weapon of Mass Destruction?
*****
Darn it! The Government beat me to it. This posting was to contain a variety of excuses yet heard to explain or justify the Government's screw-ups and illegal actions. One of the yet-used excuses was regarding our Government giving out the lucrative Iraq contracts without following the normal bid process. The excuse was that it was for efficiency; in wartime the normal bidding process didn't apply. And sure enough Halliburton is now taking a little step back from their contracts because they're now under scrutiny. Something called cronyism and "conflict of interest". And the Government's excuse for giving them the contract in the first place? It would be more expedient to have the contracts in place before wars end. The normal bidding process would take too long. Translation: They thought it'd be a short war and were divvying up the spoils accordingly. Hey George, looks like there'll be plenty of time for the proper bidding process now.
But, but, but, as Anti-War as I am, I am also a Proud Patriot and supporter of our Constitution. Our Government needs our undivided support in this time of crisis. Therefore here is my individual contribution for the Cause. These Excuses haven't been used yet and I give leave for our U.S. Government to use them as needed:
Weapons of Mass Destruction:
- Hussein has them but isn't using them because our "Shock and Awe" strategy disrupted his communications.
- Hussein has them but isn't using them because he knows if he did he'd be in *SERIOUS* trouble.
- Hussein had them. He destroyed them immediately once the war started. Up to that point he craftily hid them from inspectors.
- Hussein has hid them extremely well in an attempt to discredit Bush. After the war we'll find them. Oh yes, we'll find them!
- Hussein is dead or missing. The remaining commanders don't know the launch codes.
"Shock and Awe":
- That was only the first round...wait until we reload.
- We weren't allowed to exercise full bombardment for fear of civilian casualties.
- It was a complete success. It's not apparent to average Americans, especially those Liberal Anti-War wimps.
Iraqis and Freedom
- After the first Gulf War Hussein killed a significant number of dissenters. The people remaining are just too cowed to launch any cohesive uprising.
- With the Iraqi soldiers illegally disguising themselves as civilians and coalition troops, the Iraqi civilians who want to uprise fear harming the wrong people.
- The people are ready to revolt. They're waiting for the correct tactically sound moment.
About the Oil:
- We gave the contracts out as a matter of efficiency. The normal bidding process does not apply in times of war.
- Dick said he wouldn't make too much profit.
- Iraq has oil?!?
The Lengthening War:
- It could've been over in days but the Military is against me. They're all against me!
- We haven't gotten all our tech toys over there for testing.
- My financial advisor has told me my defense investments will increase the longer the war.
- We haven't decided whether Syria or Iran is next.
Civilian Casualties:
- Don't blame us. Blame Hussein. By not caving in he's forcing us to bomb.
- They looked like Military. Heck, they all look the same...
(I predict that we'll capture Baghdad but not find Hussein so..) On Finding Hussein and Sons:
- We'll find him. In the meantime we have a situation in Syria/Iran/Pakistan that needs our military attention.
- This war was not about killing Hussein. It was about regime change and we succeeded.
- Our sources say they're in hiding with bin Laden. See? We told you Hussein supported bin Laden.
And after it's all over - The War Would Have Ended Much Sooner If:
- we had complete support from all Americans. Even now the Justice Depatrment is creating a list of known Anti-War protesters for future detainment and re-education.
- we had had better information about Iraq. We will be expanding our information gathering to around the globe.
- Hussein had just surrendered. But enough about Iraq. Let's talk about Syria/Iran/Pakistan...

Hussein: "So what if we do develop this nuclear bomb? We'd be even a stronger nation than now."
Bush: "'Stronger.' You see? You see? Your stupid minds! Stupid! Stupid!"

Bush says things are going right on schedule, peachy keen, couldn't be better and thanks for asking. He also says we're in for the long haul at whatever cost. If we're right on schedule why the comment about an open-ended long haul?
Our Military commanders are asking for time to regroup. If we need time to regroup how can we be on schedule?
Politics as usual. Never admit a screw-up.
Meanwhile, the Iraqis are not rising up en masse and supporting us as planned. Our supply lines lines are threatened. Turkey, Iran, and Syria are behaving in ways not in our interests. Islamic fundamentalists are screaming for jihad against the U.S.. Suicide bombers are strapping on the bodypacks that go Boom.
And still no Weapons of Mass Destruction. Bush may have to use them soon if he wants this war to end before re-election.
Our Military Leaders have realized that a Military Strategies devised by politicians usually suck. But it's hard to argue strategy when you have impeccable Military credentials like Bush and Rumsfeld and one of them is your CinC (that Commander-in-Chief - hey, I got the terminology down. Can I be on the team?).
Yes, Bush et al are politicians of the worst kind. They see the polls ("70% approval by Americans. 1000 people asked") and believe the numbers. They have lost the ability - if they ever had it - to critically think and question the information they use for decisions. Worse yet their decisions are for their own agenda and not for the good of the American people nor for the World. They see only black and white and not the grey in between. They hear "will" or "will not" and cannot fathom the probabilities of "may" and "may not". They have our media as their mirror and we're always the fairest on of all.

Looks like we'll be sending more troops over. This sounds familiar. Fighting an unconventional enemy, requiring greater and greater resources in what may be a futile exercise in carnage and destruction. It's the Vietnam War for the 21st century. We were handed a lesson in jungle warfare then. We're being handed a lesson in desert and urban warfare now by a leader who may be vicious but he's crafty. Hussein understands that there are no rules. That's why he has his soldiers masquerade as civilians. That's why he fires anti-aircraft missiles out of cars. He knows that our guys may have superior weaponry but he also knows that we follow procedure and that we hesitate at shooting "civilians". And how can you kill a suicide bomber if you don't know that person is a bomber until you get up close to him for a frisking?
So if we're having a Vietnam flashback where are the 21st century naked hippie chicks?
*****
France, bless them, is asking for part of the booty. Folks, for France to oppose the war and then ask to be included in the spoils takes cajones, far more testosterone than what we have on the Hill. We should let them run Iraq.
*****
What makes me truly sick are those frothingly in favor of the war lamenting how terrible it is that innocents are getting killed. What freaking hypocrisy! If life is so precious to you then you wouldn't have called for war in the first place. But, no, you called for war; you got it and now you're unhappy that civilians and Coalition troops are getting killed. Guess what? War is ugly, brutal, no-holds, no rules. Men die. Women die. Children die. Bombs go awry. Weapons misfire. People find it tougher to aim properly in the heat of battle. Accidents happen. Civilians get killed. There is no such thing as a clean and tidy war.
But we had no choice, you, say. "Hussein just wouldn't give in. We *HAD* to go to war." Bull! There were plenty of options but not all of them were politically pretty.
Here's one: We're going to spend at least $80 billion on this war. What if we had offered a bounty on Hussein and sons. $5 million dollars and free U.S. Citizenship to the families of the assassins. What - the U.S. doesn't do assassinations? Right - sure. We might not directly and obviously but it's in the handbook and we certainly sponsor it. Heck, offer $10 billion dollars to any country that can take out Hussein and sons. Bribery...payoffs...the American way.
Here's another one. Show the oppressed Iraqis the alternative. Drop radios. Give them an info-blitz on who exactly would run the country after Hussein. Foment rebellions. We're fighting for Democracy but not showing the Iraqi people anything about their proposed new Government. No wonder they're not supporting us as much as they could. Given a choice between a known quantity (Hussein) and an unknown quantity (U.S.-style Democracy) the Iraqis are sticking with what's familiar. They know their system. It's brutal and oppressive but they know it. They know the risks. They know how to live with it and work around it. What we offer - Freedom - sounds great but visually is a cloudy mess. Afghanistan isn't much of an example to point to - it's a camel shit away from breaking out in tribal warfare (again).
Here's yet another one: Containment. Look at Cuba. If we're for freeing oppressed people why haven't we freed Cuba? All it takes is for Cuba to get one missile and Washington is toast. Yet we leave them alone. We could contain Iraq. Freeze their assets (and many countries would join us in that endeavour - free money)! Put in a rigid embargo. And all the while a propaganda campaign for the people to overthrow Hussein.
And nothing says you can't pick and choose strategies and combine them with inspections. But this is all wasted typing. Bush wanted this war regardless and, by jimbo, he got it. There is no way he'll back down now and lose all face. He's blindly happy with the half-face he has now.
*****
After 9/11 we went into Afghanistan guns a-blazing to get bin Laden and to get to him we had to remove the Taliban. The world watched as we wrought our vengeance and -Boom! - the Taliban were no longer in power. But Bush committed a terrible mistake. He didn't finish the job. Chasing bin Laden (now that's a movie title) disappeared from Bush's view after all the months of rhetoric...
Imagine if we were using the force currently committed to Iraq instead to search for bin Laden. Imagine if Bush had said to Pakistan "Hey, we're going after bin Laden. He's hiding in your mountains. We're going in." Pakistan may have screamed bloody murder but would only have watched as the U.S. finished the job. But that didn't happen. Bush went for a bigger prize - Iraq. Nice seemingly easy victory, oil, another chance to show off the big dogs, and likely he could finish this job before re-election.
Make no mistake. This war isn't about Freedom and not about "International Respect".
What this is about is Control of Resources which is, in this case, oil. It's about "Spheres of Influence" which is, in this case, the Middle East. It's about increasing both. We have a presence in the Middle East in Israel and Saudi Arabia but it's not control. Let's face it, Iraq is a big fat sugar-coated untapped oil bonanza and conveniently enough they have a bastard ruler that we can exploit as justification for our takeover. Afghanistan was a warm-up to see if we could knock out a regime.
With Russia is out of the picture this is our time to expand our control and influence . But we have to hurry before the soon-to-be evil enemy that is China flexes her wings.
And we are threatening. Syria and Iran, if they don't kowtow, could find themselves suddenly victims of our brand of liberation.
And Bush had better hurry. Re-election is right around the corner. Bet he finds bin Laden just in time.

How many lies must we endure from our Government? We may finally remove Hussein from power but is the credibility of our Government worth that price? Does our Government have any credibility left other than that backed up by force?
Bush has proved a greater threat to this Nation than Hussein. (All comments are protected by the U.S. Constititution as Freedom of Speech until Bush tramples that worthy document into dust.)
